About the Game
Angry Finches is most likely to be inspired by the most popular puzzle game of the 21st century, that is the Angry Birds. The game series which apparently become the franchise and got into various sequels, movies, animations, customized printing and what not. Angry Finches works on the same gameplay with some minor changes here and there. Again, it is different from the Angry Birds in tons of ways, so cannot be or should be actually compared. However, what could be said is if you loved angry birds so you will love this too.
Design
The design of the game, as you can see is very much like the ‘Angry Bird’ kind of games where you get this catapult in the ground. There are three finches where they all will get one chance on the catapult to cause maximum damage they can do to the enemies. There are multiple levels where you see the construction captivating or habituating the enemies changes. It becomes trickier and the design gets more intricate as well. All you see is these cute little protagonist birds you have and then the mustached-enemies in the wooden panel boxes.
Gameplay
You control these finches and the catapult where according to the number of the finches, you will get a chance to cause maximum damage to your enemies. These mustached-enemies are secured in the wooden-made panel houses. Your target will be to aim as many as you can to destroy or at least disturb their construction around it. The stretch of the field can be explored by the MOUSE HOVERING towards the RIGHT or LEFT back. Use the mouse LEFT CLICK to select the particular finch bird on the catapult and LEFT DRAG down can be used to pull the catapult to a certain power and give direction as well. You can see the white dotted lines very clearly as to where it is going to hit eventually. Get the idea of how much power to put for a certain amount of damage or reach the required spot. New levels will come up with a unique set of challenges and you must know that these challenges are fresh and different from other such ‘Angry Bird’ inspired games.
Instructions
Use LEFT MOUSE CLICK to select a particular bird to make it up on the catapult. To pull the rubber string, you need to keep pressing the LEFT mouse button and drag the opposite side of the throw. The amount of the pull decides the investment of power into it. The more you drag or pull, the more power it attains for the throw. Don’t forget to see the trail of the trajectory it is going to be and decide accordingly. Use MOUSE HOVERING towards the RIGHT to see the other side of the space where the enemies and structure lies.
Tips to Play
a) You must calculate how much power you need to put in order to get the required result. More importantly, there are only certain spots which can cause maximum damage. As you get only restricted chances, you need to figure out how to pull it off.
b) Watch the trajectory of the slingshot, it will guide you mostly where the finches going to hit. Follow the trails so it will be easy to find the best spots to hit.
