Concept
The concept is quite simple as the ball is entrapped in a complex maze with a lot of spikes, bars and other hurdles and obstacles to prevent it from reaching out to its destination block. It is similar like old usual maze games where the ball is supposed to be reached in the hole or a center spot with the help of tilting it around. The similar concept is adapted in digitization of the game.
Design
The design is quite basic where the maze is specifically designed according to reactive to the gravity with a lot of elements and constructions to direct the ball in a certain direction. The movement of the ball is decided according to the gravity which is the prime driver of the force to the ball. So apparently, the maze is constructed in a way whether one can get away the ball to the finishing block but for that, the gravity and balance should be in your favor. That’s all lies in your gameplay where the design place the crucial role in as all the maze-like games does. There are colorful blocks creates lanes to explore the new areas in the maze and find the finishing block. Every level features a new, more complex and with a more challenge-based maze, harder to reach the ball to its destination.
Gameplay
It is interesting that you even not control the ball here in the maze, not directly at least. The gameplay is pretty much like to those puzzle games use to play where the balls were supposed to reach at the center by tilting it here and there. These games were even on kids pencil box and tiffin boxes if you remember. The kind of the same concept is digitalized here where you can tilt the whole maze here and there to shift the gravity from one part to another. That’s what moves the ball in the first place. And that’s how you control the ball to move it around in the puzzle and protect it from any kind of obstacles, trap or threat such as spikes or moving bars. You can move the 3D Maze ball in the way you want by using the maze itself, moving it clockwise or anticlockwise with help of LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys.
Instructions
Use LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to move the maze anti-clockwise and clockwise respectively. You are supposed to use the maze itself and the sense of gravity to decide the directions of the ball. You also supposed to be active with your movement, especially when there are close calls.
Tips to Play
1. Learn and understand the movement of the ball and how it reacts to the LEFT and RIGHT keys actually to determine how you can take instant turns, slow turns or completely fall back in the game. The first two-three levels are enough to put out that easily.
2. You have to understand the gravity and how much you need to tilt or do the upside-down making sure the ball moves towards the end of the finishing block.
